We heard a lot about this earlier on in the discussions as a back up in case a deal couldn't be reached, but I haven't heard anyone in the media or congress even talking about. Was it voted down and I just didn't hear about it?

I'm with Obama on this, the country should NOT have to be put through this again any time soon. This is too much, too many people are sincerely scared. :(
