So now they upped the ante again, no balanced budget amendment, no increase in debt ceiling
Edited on Sat Jul-30-11 04:34 PM by DainBramaged
Spoken to me by the lackey answering the phones at Congressbagger Harris of Maryland's office this morning.

They will give the President NOTHING but chaos, fucking Pukes.

2. Obama should make an announcement that if there is no raise in the
debt ceiling, via a clean bill, it's the repukelicans fault! that he's tired of all the posturing and get it done NOW of YOU suffer the consequences!

11. He will but we need to get closer to the deadline. They are in the
corner - he is just backing them further in. There are only three options left on the table. Default is their option. We have the clean bill and if they are stupid enough to actually go through with their plan to kill America then we have the 14th amendment left and that does not take any action from them.

15. Actually I think you may have misunderstood
"up the ante" is correct...he was just playing on your words--and "upping the ANTI"
with "anti" meaning against as in they are against everything.

7. YES, and the lackey claimed he pays for his own but offered no proof
He let me get in that the Republicans upped the debt ceiling 7 times under Booshe before he hung up.

8. The balanced budget amendment is a total fraud
There is no way that three-fourths of the states will ever ratify it. States get 1/3 of their money from the federal government, and they're already bleeding. They will not agree to amend the Constitution to cut off their own noses. A handful of "crazy" states will vote for it. Maybe not even them.

10. There's a problem inherent with constantly upping the ante
The loss is especially spectacular.

I'm still not convinced that the plutocrats will allow the repugs to force a default, but if it *does* happen, it will become a moment in history as reviled as 9/11 or the day Pearl Harbor was bombed, so horrific will be the aftermath.

12. They want a default, it is their bloodlust calling.
Then they can have that civil war fantasized about by so many Repuke/Teabaggers over the years. To bad for them it will go totally the opposite from the way the pipedream plays out. We are dealing with dangerous people that are stupid in an evil way.

13. There is NO feasible way even way out in Dumbfuckistan
that a Constitutional Amendment can be done before the economy collapses.

I don't care for Lawrence O'Donnell, but the one thing that he said makes sense (paraphrased)--they don't know where politics stops and governing begins.

14. They are willing to sacrifice the 'last, best hope of man' (A. Lincoln) in
the interests of not raising taxes on the most well off.

A. Lincoln is writhing in his grave.

If they want a 2nd civil war, a 2nd civil war they shall get. But there are way more workers than there are ruling class and deluded tea baggers.
