This household here just received a letter from the financial institution being banked with.
They wanted to let us know that any military pay checks, Federal pensions and Social Security checks will be advanced in the case of a default!
:wtf:
You pigs in Washington, D.C. are starting up a nice panic here!
Oh btw ... have 90 days to repay the advanced checks that will be given out in August! :wtf:
:argh:
Government Default Contingency Plan Due to the uncertainty surrounding the national debt ceiling, we would like to assure our membership that in the event the issue is not resolved in August and causes a disruption in federal government payments, members who regularly have their pay direct deposited to that are military or civilian employees and retirees of the federal government, as well as Social Security recipients, will have their August deposits advanced as scheduled in anticipation of receiving the actual deposit once the debt ceiling issue is resolved. Should it be necessary, will be advancing these August deposits to provide assistance to our valued members. Members who have deposits advanced will need to repay the amount of funds advanced within 90 days from the date funds are advanced.
NOTE: They sure came up with this plan fast didn't they? :argh:

Yes, like my nephew the Ranger, who, aside from the dead and maimed, has paid one of the highest |
|
prices already for what "we" have become.
Blessings on your cousin.

It is very sad about my cousin. I don't believe I ever mentioned it before.
He wanted a new life and career working in the great outdoors.
They promised him a great deal ...
He enlisted.
He is now on at least his 2nd if not 3rd tour in AFGHANISTAN!
He never got to the school to learn the new job he was to get.
I know nothing else about it as his grandmother won't talk about "it" sadly. :(
I hope my cousin comes home soon in any event and in one solid piece if at all possible.
I also hope he doesn't have to repay his damn August check!
As for this household here: A blind and sick old vet that refuses to tap the system ... sick to death of the VA ... *sigh* They better give him the lousy $400!

went off to the best colleges they could get into . . .
while "student" church groups prayed around the flagpole and many of the ones who didn't go into the military, or onto a college-career path, graduated to a higher class of politically correct psychotropic prescriptions.

12. I don't understand why it would have to be paid back, when it's your pay. |
|
Even if it's paid in advance, the date will come when it should/would have been paid anyway. I'm confused.

18. The bank is lending it to the customer . Once the pay is |
|
actually direct deposited, the bank needs to have the loan repaid.

I just logged into my 84 year old mothers bank account, and she got her SSI dirrect deposit on the 27th for only 96.00. She usually get over 1300. This is unbelievable.
