Ya know what?

Both sides live off the government teat with corporate welfare, insane tax breaks, credits for sending jobs overseas, and plain old wholesale stealing from the Taxman - in fact there are whole divisions of the IRS whose job it is to analyze the complex tax returns of extremely wealthy people, as well as those divisions which police those who are un/underemployed with cash incomes and the welfare folks, and the medicaid patients who just want to survive the day.

Both sides ducked the War in Vietnam, made shit up to get out, got medical deferments including but not limited to boils on the ass and ducked their duties to the very country to which these individuals pledged allegiance every morning for at least 12 years.

Both sides flout the law by employing illegal immigrants to the US. They use them for domestics, to clean out their stalls of their horses and other livestock, they buy fruits and vegetables from roadside stands which are not registered, and utilize them for child-care, often bragging about how they don't have to pay Social Security.

Both sides are guilty of predatory BORROWING: they borrowed too much money and can't pay the debts back, thus endangering the economic security of the United States, potentially a treasonous act. these people borrowed on their second homes, on their businesses, on their boats, and when their income streams were insufficient, caused the banks and mortgage companies to require federal assistance. This is in addition to poor people who lost their jobs working for these aforementioned business people, who were 'guilty' of the same 'crime'.

There are many other issues which apply to both sides. These are often ignored but there is an 'other' side.
