it's fucking ridiculous
obviously we need to reduce our deficit, democrats agree with republicans for major cuts in spending, but they also want to increase taxes on the rich as well
republicans, like petulant children, rather have our country default than have rich people pay a penny more
now is the time when wealth has been concentrated at the very top, when the the gap between the rich and the rest of us is at a historic high
and this is the time to worry about rich people paying more taxes?? what the fuck
seems to be a rather clear cut issue that shouldn't be that hard to get across yet it's not
how is this defensible? is american public really that brainwashed? if democrats capitulate on this issue then there is truly no difference between the two parties

1. It is not defensible. Deficit spending is a separate issue. |

Should pass a clean bill raising the debt ceiling. Then work on addressing the deficit spending.
We, here, all know that had Bush had a lick of sense regarding budgetary issues, we would not be in this position.

2. Dems want to raise taxes on the rich? Where are these dems at? I wanna vote for them. |
|
Or do you mean the silly loopholes nonsense that doesn't dent the Bush/Obama tax cuts for the rich?
