Sen Kerry just now - "Where is the single Republican concession? There hasn't been one!"
Edited on Sat Jul-30-11 06:24 PM by Divine Discontent
Preach it, Senator. The GOP have not given anything, and they've been handed way too much to begin with, and if they send this country's economy off the rails, they will have to answer to it from the thousands of constituents whose lives are going to be highly effected or ruined by their hatred of our social programs.

Also, Sen. Kerry said about the GOP's accusations - "this is the most specious, silly, ridiculous, childish argument I've heard in the Senate".

"I believe in the next 48 hours the US Senate will prove our ability to live up to its responsibility".

Man, I hope so, President Kerry, well, Senator Kerry (even though we know you beat the Dim Son).

"Ronald Reagan would find himself losing in the Republican Party because he's not pure enough for the Tea Party" - Sen Tom Harkin, speaking after Sen. Kerry live on c-span http://www.c-span.org/Live-Video/C-SPAN2/

1. It was a great speech
did my soul good to have 15 minutes or or so of sanity and wisdom in the middle of all this sordid craziness.

did you ever say it! Can you imagine the presidency under Kerry from 2005- instead of Dim Son? My God, what a difference it would have been. He is such a mature and strong leader and speaker. That is why he won in 2004, as we all know, as that election was so incredibly close, and Ohio has been proven to be highly questionable at best, and proves daily the breadth of talent and sanity, as you stated, that he possesses. This country will falter on the back of the teabgaggers, and them alone. It is disgusting we are seeing them being so willing to see this country burn....

4. Can I imagine it?
Yes, but I don't want to, too depressing to think of what could have been and what was instead
