Any deal at this point is a loss |
|
for the teabaggers and the GOP. They have dug themselves a hole in which any deal that is struck that does not include their balanced budget amendment bullshit--which has no chance of getting three-fourths of the states to ratify anyway--will be seen as a tea party loss. Rushpig and friends will see that Boner is replaced by a "kool-aid" drinker and, despite their loss, they'll double down and find the next crazy angle to fuck with the administration in the next 18 months in an effort to destroy PBO and exact revenge on pubs they feel are less than pure. In 2010, they were able to get enough of the scared middle to believe the country was going the wrong way to get some nitwits elected. After this fiasco, they shouldn't see the same success next year... but hell, they shouldn't have had that success last year.

3. Yes, they have gone from |
|
basically attacking his credentials (pretty much charging him with being President while black), to attacking his right to the office by claiming he wasn't born in the U.S., to just saying "fuck it, we'll just bring down the whole world's economy if people don't see shit our way!"
It is hard for me to imagine how they could get any crazier, but I'm sure you are right--they will as soon as Rushpig and his assholes figure out how.

4. As long as Obama is president, teabaggers are in the catbird seat. He's desperate for . |
|
bipartisanship, they are not, meaning they'll stand their ground while he gives them more and more of what they want.
The loss is OURS, not theirs, and if you think otherwise you are just fooling yourself.
