i got another rw poll call today. is anyone else getting these? |
|
they had me listen to a recorded screed and then asked me to support their efforts to expose all of "barack hussein obama"'s lies and thefts of taxpayer dollars by donating $100-$200.
i got another poll call a week ago from some college conservative group. same kind of recorded screed then the question 'what's obama's greatest failure?'.
apparently these people look at where you live and not what your party affiliation is. they are just going to make me donate more $ to dems. :eyes:
i think we will have our work cut out for us next year. i also think that repubs will be trying to find new ways to steal elections.
never thought i would be happy to be old.

2. I am in Iowa and am getting many, many various calls. |
|
I always play along to have someone call me back, but no one does. Tells me they are not well functioning. I think I fit their demo: white, male , rural, midwest, @ 60. If anyone should be a Republican I should. What ever did I do right? (Oh and I often change parties to vote for one of their sterling candidates in the primary).

5. I live in a very RED state so there is no need to poll |
|
plus I only have a cell, but I remember from statistic classes all of the ways to get a poll to have the results you want them to have. Between selective locations to poll, specific times to poll, qualifying questions, misleading questions, pushed questions and a few more tricks, a poll can have the results you want. Then you have interpretation tricks which can shift the result such as selective grouping of data, word trickery (majority is only 50% but it sounds more like 85%) and graphs can be manipulated. I trust polls only if I trust the source. Most trusted polling organizations will release the raw data and questions along with the summary results but you do need to look for this, they know most people want the poll condensed to 3 or 4 simple statistics so it usually isn't provide with the summary.
