2. Which is, of course, a lie
Wanting the wealthy to pay their fair share is not wanting to raise "our" taxes.

4. OMG! He's a fucking liar!
We do not have the most progressive system of the developed world. This man is making shit up.

400 people make as much money as 150,000,000.

If you don't fucking think there is something wrong with that, then you have no idea what a free market is. You cannot have a free enterprise capitalist economy, when so few people control so much economic power.

IT'S AN ECONOMIC ARISTOCRACY!

7. The f'er obviously doesn't want to talk about effective tax rates...
Edited on Sat Jul-30-11 08:46 PM by cascadiance
That show the wealthy and corporations paying far less in REAL taxes than what he says they pay just based on tax rates.

I hope that Warren Buffett's secretary some day gets the opportunity to kick the crap out of this LYING bum!

8. I live in that Jerks state and have called and written several
times during this fiasco and haven't even gotten an auto reply email. I guess he knows I have never voted for him, and will never vote for him no matter how this plays out so he really doesn't care.

24. He could not run again, and move to some third world country
with hardly ANY government. That would make this country a better place, for starters.

18. We will not win in government.
We won't win on the streets.
We won't win at the ballot box.
But we will win in the economy. These people have no clue about the level 5 shit storm headed their way.

We will reclaim this nation.
We will have a new birth of freedom, a new economic freedom.
Change is on the way, the lies are going to lose.
And this corrupt system will fall.

19. Oh now, cloture voting is "allowing the senate to vote"...
Basically he's rationalizing that in order to pass issues on this level of importance you need 60 votes!

Now Boxer's about to let him have it! Good for her!

21. The Sessions have been a poisonous family going way back, just like the shub's.
Check out Treason in America: from Aaron Burr to Averell Harriman by Anton Chaitkin, which goes into numerous families of the same ilk. Out of print, but Amazon usually has it.

He would have been a Boll Weevil, Orval Faubus type back in the day.
