Something special happend a couple of days ago.

A disaster was avoided somehow. Normally a plane crash kills many.
Here is one that killed no one. Most saw this, but it is worth mentioning again.
Something special that was good happened.

this part of the story was shocking too, although not as shocking as the landing was for those people:

Before rescue crews arrived at the scene, an enterprising "taxi driver appeared from nowhere and charged me $20 to take me to the terminal," she said.

"I had to pay, but in times of emergencies, you don't charge people for a ride," she said, surrounded by relatives in the airport's arrival area.
