The only upside of all this for me... |
|
and of course, "I" am the most important person around these parts (See: I can think like a Republican if I want to - it's not that hard), is that I've gotten to hear all these RWers with money whom I treat shaking in their boots that their own Congress might cause their portfolios to drop significantly in value. "Buyer's Remorse", anyone?
While I have your attention for a moment, I am reminded of the Dana Milbank piece which has disappeared from Youtube wherein on election night, 2008, he was at the McCain compound and was observing and interviewing some of the fan club. It was fascinating to watch these folk shaking their heads and when one of the people told another to "stay classy", he shook his head and said "never". They have been on a tear since day one of the Presidency to destroy Obama - it is a mission and a compulsion. this is another chapter in their Quest.
