I am going to wait to see what comes out of this before I go over the deep end. |
|
But I must say, I am not getting a good feeling about this. If the middle class gets screwed again I am no longer giving my vote to any old Democrat. I will be watching closely on who to vote for. Please don't tell me that would mean we would be allowing the Republican's to gain office and make things worse. They are already doing that and we have a Democratic President and majority Senate. At some point my values have to come into play. I do not believe that one just gives someone a free pass just because they are the President or Congress person of one's party. They have to earn it like anyone else.

1. We're right there with you. |

But I'm not sure if I want to be around the DU when this shit goes down. I will not be polite to people who tell me to eat my shit sandwich and like it.

2. I agree and have to say I went through this in 2000. |
|
I was convinced that corporations were getting too much control and decided to stop eating shit sandwiches and yes, voted for Nader. Even though my vote was more a protest since I live in Ct and Gore won I was glad I did it. After seeing the damage bush did I had to question would I do it again. I am back on that fence.

4. Which part says we'll get anything but screwed in some way? |
|
I missed that. It's heads they win, tails we lose no matter what.

5. It's symbolic for me, since OR is solid blue, but I'm with ya... |
|
I cannot possibly vote for Obama again. My main choice is whether to write in Kucinich, Franken, or Sanders. At least our two senators (Wyden and Merkely) are solid smart, progressive, and reasonably ethical. But then there's rep. David Wu. :(
