Why no calls for Joe Walsh to resign?
You couldn't read DU during the Weiner mess without seeing daily calls for him to resign over the twitter scandal. Walsh, for a period of years deliberately shortchanged his kids to the tune of 100k. For all we know his kids literally had to eat cat food while Joe Walsh lived the life of Riley. Yet no calls for him to resign. With Weiner it was think of the children, with Walsh it is apparently fuck the children.

1. He's a Republican. That's why there are no calls for him to resign.

5. I sent him an email the day after the Sun-Times story broke asking him to resign.
I also wrote several emails to corporate nooze outlets asking them to ask him about the story since he's become their new dahling.

8. He's a loser
If they have low enough stands that they want to keep their losers in office who cares? The less credibility their legislators have the better for us.
