In the background, Crossroads GPS blares. |

In Florida, we are being bombarded with TV & radio ads from a very shady organization known as nomoreblankchecks.com. This is being funded, according to their website - which is advertised on DU btw - by a group called crossroads GPS. The ads appear to feature scripted actors all slamming centrist Democrat Bill Nelson. Along with this propaganda is a well-distributed ad featuring more scripted actors urging people to oppose any taxes on energy companies - pay no attention to the gas prices. These ads are blanketing the airwaves and no doubt helping the un and mis-informed affect the debate process on the Debt ceiling. Does anyone out there have any idea where these ads are being originated from and funded? They have the Koch Brothers prints all over them.

2. Crossroads = Karl Rove's PAC |
|
Crossroads is running those same ads here in Virginia - round the clock on Cox cable.
This is Karl Rove's super PAC that doesn't have to release its donor's names.

4. There's a difference between "doesn't have to release" and "can keep secret". We'll see. |
