How the T-baggers were created
From Driftglass:

Conservatives built this monster.

It didn’t just wander out of the woods one day, or land here from another planet. The Wingnut Base -- whatever teabagger, Colonial Williamsburg camouflage they’re sporting this week, and however hard the media tries to pretend they aren't who we know they are -- was manufactured by the Conservative Movement to win elections. Made right here in the U S of A out of spare parts left over from the Segregationist South, Right-wing fundamentalism, Bircher paranoia and general Archie Bunker pig-ignorance.

Conservatives built the unholy thing, programmed it, wounded it up and sent it out to do their bidding.

And everyone knows it. David Brooks knows it. David Gregory. Tom Friedman. David Frum. The goofs at the "No Labels" freakshow. The entire GOP Brain Caste.

Everybody.

4. yes - otherwise known as freedom works
their dweeb president matt Kibbe was on bill maher. He didn;t say much, too over-shadowed by the awesome Elliot Spitzer. I looked up the dweeb and what a surprise he went to a "christian" college. What is with all these religious people???

7. the nazis won WW2...
it took them awhile, but they finally destroyed the Soviet (Workers) Union in 1990- they really would have preferred to have been fighting the Revolution the entire time, but that darn hitler fellow: he thought lawless thuggishness was ok provided you WON, and he would have won WW2 outright had he not fallen for the 'anglo american' nudge/wink suggestion that, if he went to war against the USSR, which he did in 1941, the west would quietly sign a peace treaty with Germany and... well that all became moot because by 1941 the death camps were operating and the final solution was being worked out....and even the race supremeists in Washington/London knew better then to go along with that! Not that you'd ever heard of the 'holocaust' had they in fact, done so. After all, have you ever heard of the AmerIndians? The Armenians? Cecil rhode's 'dark continent' with king leopold's horrorshow in Belgium Congo?

(the Dulles brothers, the Bush/walker family, and large part of ruling elite in US and England were rightwing race supremeists, though not as gross as the hitlerite nazis and present day's gopigs)

9. I agree completely, destroy the center.
Or create a Democratic Party. Either one would work for me.

10. 1st time I heard of TP was Rick Santelli's rant on CNBC
In Feb. 2009, reporter and former hedge funder Rick Santelli's blew-up during a CNBC report from a Chicage futures trading floor. He called for a "tea party" in Chicago's harbor.

In clip, note suspicion of Santelli's news colleagues when he was ranting on-air.

See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rick_Santelli

From its beginnings Tea Party was a media and financial industry creation...
