RIP Christina.
I just saw your picture this morning and I thought what a beautiful child you were.
Brought into the world on a day when grownups were in turmoil
and leaving on a day when grownups were still in turmoil.
When will they ever learn?

She was so young and already so interested in government. She was a member of her elementary school student council and she was excited to meet her Representative. For a child to show such an interest this early is a special thing.
I was talking about Christina with my 10 year old daughter and she turned to me and said, "Mom, I bet Christina would have made a great President". Obviously there's no way of knowing what path she would have ultimately chosen for herself, but I like to think my daughter is right.

My heart breaks thinking about her and the other victims. The life of an angel bookended by horrible tragedy. I was particularly jolted when I read about her since my own daughter was born on 9/11/01.
I sent my deepest condolences to her family.
