I doubt we will be able to do much about keeping guns out of the
wrong hands, a.k.a. "gun control", a.k.a. "trampling my second amendement rights".


However, can we (should we) use this event as a teaching moment to revamp our mental health care system? We need to make the system affordable, and remove the stigma from getting help. We also need a better balance between individual rights and forcing care on those who can't care for themselves and/or may be a hazard to themselves or others.
