This is the REPUBLICAN DEBT... but them |
|
spending like drunken sailors allows them to PASS THEIR TOXIC AGENDA with control of ONE house... how's that change working for ya?
Yes frustration and in real life, you where I happen to live PEOPLE ARE PISSED, REALLY PISSED... mostly at the crazies, but also at the democrats, the former for being crazy, the latter for a lack of spine.
THS should not be happening... alas it is. So this needs to teach people that the standard ways no longer work... PERIOD.
ORGANIZE and INFILTRATE our own party, this is what this is about. Primary every democrat to try to pull this party to whatever the left is... I really have no clue any more. I knew it was MIA... at this point, as much fantasy from the radical right as there is... it is DEAD... stiff, pinning in the fjords. etcetera.
The COUNTRY, LARGE FRACKING MAJORITIES OUTSIDE DC want one thing... but less than 20% of the county is getting it's way. Tell me how is this working fer ya?

1. Having a spine won't stop Constitutional terror. |
|
Voting the Terror Party out is the only remedy we have.

4. Voting doesn't require spine. |
|
The public is strongly agaisnt everything the Terror Party stands for.
The only way we lose is if we discourage our friends and family from voting.

7. Some hisotry is in order |

recent history actually works, see the Tea Party has organized a whole parallel organization to the Republicans. They are using the primaries to get their radicals in.
That is your lesson for the day... we need to organize a whole parallel organization and primary democrats from the left. It is not cheap... it is not easy... but that is what needs to happen.
We also need to realize that this is not working. It is broken, when terrorism works... this is exactly how the black shirts took over in Italy...
And yes we are at a smilar stage where the country I came from was when I first voted at 18. We voted, we knew it really did not matter, I mean in the 75% range of the registered voters, which is far better than anything we can do here. And we were damn cynical. We all knew that the power structure wasn't where changes was going to happen and people needed to organize OUTIDE it. We are at the same point.
The conversations this morning at the market were those of people who were scared, angry and extremely frustrated. Just now at the ATM, where VETS are depositing checks and TAKING OUT cash, just in case.. again frustration, fear and a sense of it really does not matter.
We have crossed a point that is dangerous in any so called democracy. To quote a retired Navy Captain, what we have now is the tyranny of the MINORITY.

11. No, we should organize |
|
and run our own slate...
If you got the other lesson, you are wrong.
Of course your other choice is to keep playing this game and expect changes. By the way that is the mark of insanity.
But read US History... all real changes have come from outside forces that quietly organized, at times for decades. Social Security is a good example. It came from the Granger party... surprised? It took almost three generations.

The party that is so morally bankrupt as to be willing and able to LEGALLY hold millions of people hostage will usually win as the moral parties will settle for less damage to prevent a catastrophe. Unfortunately, the U.S. Constitution is not strong enough to prevent minority terrorism.

8. Tyranny of the minority... yep |
|
let's call it what the founders would have called it.
And you are right, it reveals a serious problem in our founding documents. Last time around it led to a civil war.

12. Well, this mess has less to do about the spines of the Dems, |
|
it's boner's spine that is liquid...he should have been looking for legislation that would have passed the whole house, not just with repubs...instead he and cantor melted like the wicked witch, right into puddles at the feet of the tp.
