2. Didn't he also say back in 2010 that he would let the cuts expire? Or am I misremembering?
His words are hollow. I won't trust another word he says until I see some actions to back up those words.

17. He said in in 2010,
he said it many times in 2008.

When it came time to actually do it, he happily signed the extension for breadcrumbs in return. One of those breadcrumbs was a promise from Republicans to work with him on the debt ceiling.

Looks like campaign Obama is making an appearance again.

7. Exactly.
I'm confused. Obama doesn't have to do anything and they expire automatically.

The only question is, does Obama have the spine to do nothing?

12. Yeah but it's a win
what the hell is wrong with us. It's a win. We just shouldn't mention that part about he does nothing and they expire. That would be irrelevant.

11. Let me guess... RIGHT AFTER THE NEXT ELECTION.
And what does "tax reform" mean? What's enough "tax reform"? Closing the corp jet loophole?

I can write a book on what "tax reform" would mean to me, starting with those corporate mail boxes in the Caribbean.

You know. The ones Obama talked about during his 2008 campaign.

http://sovereign-investor.com/2008/10/30/obama-victory-bad-news-for-caribbean-tax-havens/

Obama echoed this view on September 22 in a speech in Wisconsin, when he said, “We lose $100 billion every year because corporations get to set up mailboxes offshore so that they can avoid paying a dime of taxes in America. Imagine if you got to do that… I will shut down those offshore tax havens and corporate loopholes as President, because you shouldn’t have to pay higher taxes because some big corporation cut corners to avoid paying theirs.”
