2. I am kind of on the fence about this.

My father, a life long Democrat, mentioned this morning,"At (insert name of Big 3 vendor here), when someone died, or was killed (as did happen once, in the 90's), it was business as usual with the exception of the funeral. When everything happened with my husband, his coworkers, friends and family, were given the day of the funeral off.

That said, I'm not going to go calling up and spouting off about it. A decision was made, and it really hurts no one.

Our new rep is a repuke who said his #1 priority is repealing HCR. So we started a campaign to flood his office with calls. This week delay just gives us more time. Fine by me.

7. Without knowing the context, I'd like to point out that people do get shot

in this country every day. The saddest thing I've seen was a sign that I saw last week, "23 Days since the last homicide in Buffalo". Too many Americans live in places as violent as Afghanistan.
