Report: Armed DEA agents raid wrong house in Sterling Heights
Published: Sunday, July 31, 2011, 12:41 PM Updated: Sunday, July 31, 2011, 2:26 PM
By Michael Wayland | MLive.com

The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency reportedly reenacted a clip from "The Simpsons" (see incompetence) when raiding a home Tuesday morning in Sterling Heights.

July 30, Fox 2: "Officers bust into a home in Sterling Heights, armed with a search warrant. The only problem? The guy they were looking for doesn't live there. Fox 2 talked to the man who opened the door, and was stunned by what happened next."

The resident at the address, Ramsey Tossa, told MLive Detroit media affiliate Fox 2 that the DEA agents conducting the raid treated him like a criminal.

"As soon as I opened the door, somebody grabbed me and took me outside and put me on the grass," Tossa said. "The first thing I thought was they were terrorists who want to kill me because I served in Iraq."

2. Correct title... DEA raids correct house but a different
person actually resides there.

According to the story the landlords son uses the address as his legal residence.

Boy, when FOX gets a hold of this, somebody is going to have to pull over to the side of the road and text in their resignation!

4. "The first thing I thought was they were terrorists who want to kill me because I served in Iraq."
That about sums up the DEA and their tactics. They don't care much about service, though. They traumatize families for fun.

The article omits a few things. The accompanying clip at the link has him mentioning they drag out his wife, and his partially undressed daughters. The family was sleeping when they knocked at 2am (par the course for the DEA). He also had to be taken by paramedics to the hospital after feeling as if he was having a heart attack. Hospital bills and trauma. And if they had a dog, it'd be dead.

6. F**K the DEA and their GOD DAMN agents.
If you serve in the DEA, you are shit, I SPIT on you! The DEA has done nothing EVER to protect me.
But yes, the DEA acts like terrorists.
