It seems that in return for getting a definite end to the Bush tax cuts (if we don't get screwed out of it in the meantime) as soon as 2013 arrives, the tea baggers get most of what they want. In other words, they are two-year-olds who are being rewarded for throwing a temper tantrum. Now I don't know about you, but I don't recall getting rewarded when I was a two-year-old and threw a tantrum. But them again, my mom had a very different temperament than Obama.

They like social provision (Medicare part D) and don't like repealing them (SS privatization).

Do they get no revenue increases? No, since the bipartisan committee absolutely WILL propose revenue increases and dare the Tea Baggers to reject them in the face of cuts to defense and local district level projects.

How did they get everything they wanted? They lost on BBA, rather badly I might add. They lost on the debt ceiling increase. They lost on the short term, they lost on revenue.
