Palin Double Dares: No peace if she's accused of inciting violence
Palin: No peace if she's accused of inciting violence
by Jed Lewison
Mon Jan 10, 2011 at 09:40:03 AM PST

Sarah Palin says she abhors violence and she picked a hell of a way to get her message out: emailing Glenn Beck.
http://www.politico.com/blogs/onmedia/0111/Sarah_Palin_to_Glenn_Beck_I_hate_violence.html

Sarah Palin reached out to Glenn Beck over the weekend, and Beck read some of their email exchange on his radio show this morning. ... Beck expressed concern about Palin’s safety, and urged her to hire the same Los Angeles-based security firm that he uses. ...

“I hate violence,” Palin wrote back. “I hate war."

Great. She hates violence. And she hates war, which I guess is good, but just who exactly is talking about war here? Other than Palin, I haven't seen anybody suggest this has anything to do with war. Still, at least she's against war, right?

But this being Palin, she can't live good enough alone. There's a wrinkle:

"Our children will not have peace if politicos just capitalize on this to succeed in portraying anyone as inciting terror and violence.”

Got it? It's not her fault that "our children won't have peace." It's not Sharron Angle's fault that "second amendment remedies" are coming. It's not Glenn Beck's fault. It's your fault, because you're telling her to be civil.

3. She hates war?
She's never made any statement previous that indicates that.

4. She's been daring everyone all along to see how much she can get away with....
She literally called Obama Terrorist and insinuated he was a muslim during the election.

plus a bunch more stuff I can't think of....

and finally she dared all of her followers to use violence if necessary to stop the Democrats.

They did, just like she dared them too.

5. Why does she promote gun use? Why did she have a map with crosshairs
on it on her FB page? Why did she list specific Congress members on that map?

6. That's creepy - I think she means that in the way Sherman said "war is hell"
That is, she sees herself as a leader in a civil war.

13. Yea me too

She hates violence. I can see that statement.

But 'she hates war'?

What does 'a war' have to do with shooting those people at the political event?

Things that make you go hmmmm...

Then again, Palin is such a stupid dolt I think the words that fly out of her mouth are not always prompted by very strong brain activity so who knows why she said it. Probably just 'sounded right' at the time.

14. I wonder if Beck told her to get a bullet proof vest...
... like he's been wearing in public on a number of occasions. I was told that about on occasion by someone who works with Beck...

Some of her supporters might not like her frame being "obscured" by such though. Might make it harder to hypocritically violate their other idol Christine O'Donnell's code of ethics.

15. Yes sarah, hire lawyers, public relations firms and security contractors.
All that cost a lot of money and eventually it will all run out.

17. Can somebody please arrest this woman?
I would say considering that Representative Giffords was one of the Palin put on her targets list, this woman should at least be questioned, and if it is found that Loughner had taken that was a call to arms, she should be charged with incitement to violence.

18. Horrible woman; but this tells me she knows she is in deep trouble over this.
She isn't making much sense, as usual, but sending out Beckie as a message boy to test the waters (just like having Rebecca Mansoor do the same on that radio show) tells me that Palin is at a loss over what to do.

She knows her images is tarnished, and I'm sensing she knows it is probably tarnished for keeps. This is going to get good, like popcorn time good, because I predict that her eventual public response to this will be a stupid move to remember.
