The mere fact that Sarah Palin's rhetoric is being discussed in connection with yesterday's shooting is hurting her perceived odds of becoming the next President.

Here's a look at her InTrade contract (note the cluster of trades yesterday, and bear in mind that InTrade is based in Ireland, hence the tim being later in the evening).

10. She is much harder for TPTB to conrol than W was, partly at least because she is even stupider and

therefore doesn't understand the risks she runs by crossing them. They still find her somewhat useful, so they haven't really shut her down yet, but they would not allow her to actually get into a position of real power where she could challenge their control. Even now their spokespeople are undercutting her potential as a candidate for national office. They probably intend to keep her as a FOX and reality show personality to keep their base fired up, but they won't let her become mroe pwoerful than that.

7. The only problem I see

is that when a wild animal is cornered they fight with tooth and nail to survive. I really hope this doesn't turn her to openly calling for violence, because her followers will listen. Although he she does, that would probably get her arrested as a terrorist.
