"We never, ever, ever intended for it to be gunsights"
That's what the Wicked Witch of the North's spokesperson said last night.

Yea sure, and if she had used an image of a noose, it would've actually been intended as a cowboy lasso. I'll believe that when me shit turns purple and smells like rainbow sherbet. If I were Palin, I'd be out looking for the best defense attorney money can buy. I hope when the lawsuits are done flying, she has to live in a cardboard box, if not a jail cell.

9. Here's your link
http://voices.washingtonpost.com/44/2011/01/palin-staffer-nothing-irrespon.html">Sarah Palin crosshairs 'never intended to be gun sights,' says aide

"We never ever, ever intended it to be gun sights," said Rebecca Mansour, who works for Palin's political action committee, in a interview with conservative radio host Tammy Bruce.

Clearly this aide is lying through her teeth...such a good little republican.

BTW: If you don't believe that teabaggers and Palin especially advocated guns and violence, where were you the last two years?

3. They sure are out in cleanup mode, aren't they?
Too late. And they were intended to be gunsights. If they weren't, they would've used something else AND they would've used different language.

We're not idiots.

14. What lies now...
There is a vast difference between rhetoric pointed at inanimate objects -like bills- ideas- opinions and the violent rhetoric employing guns and weapon terms pointed at real PEOPLE!

The left has used the former metaphors while the right puts targets on people and uses terms' like ' If the ballot does not work bullets do'...Lock and Load, 2nd Amendment REMEDIES...to begin the list!

22. Another poster pointed out Sarah herself called the images targets.
She bragged about bringing down people targeted. It does not matter what the spokesperson says when her employer (Sarah) contradicts the denial.

24. It begs the question, of course...
Edited on Mon Jan-10-11 04:35 PM by RedSpartan
Since the map was taken down immediately...

If it was appropriate to have gun sight targets over Congresswoman Giffords' district (or any other) BEFORE she was the subject of an assassination attempt, why is it inappropriate AFTER?

Why, Sarah? Why?

Palin was courting the powerful geologists lobby.
