I hope the wingnuts realize that this event will cause another massive increase in "security" -- which is one of their beefs with the "evil gubmint" in the first place, that it's a plot to take over the world and take away their guns. So, it all becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. They banter on the internet and in real life about how they are arming themselves to stand up for "freedom" -- I hope they realize that their own actions are the cause of their diminished freedoms. the fruits of their labor. The Republicans/Tea party/Conservatives had signs, at town halls with stereo surround sound shouting matches. They disrespected the office of "This Presidency" in every conceivable way, up to the point of calling our President a liar at the State of The Union Address. The rhetoric had long ago lost the flavor of disagreement and took on the foul vomit of HATRED!!!It was a bad taste in my mouth then and extremely awful now. I hope Congresswoman Giffords make a speedy and healthy recovery. And I hope the same for each and every family that has been touched by this awful thing we are calling Democracy. Funny how someone's Second Amendment rights, can trump another's First Amendment rights!!!!
