The Shock Doctrine is at work here.
1. George W Bush squandered our treasury to the point of disaster.
2. Barack Obama needs the cooperation of all parties to repair the damage.
3. The Tea Bagger candidates are elected using Koch money and Milton Friedman policies.
4. Right wingers want the economy to fail so they can blame Obama, get re-elected and totally change the government paradigm.
5. The deceitful trick worked.
