Over the past three days I've seen A LOT of attacks on DU, from within and without

We're insane, we're murderous, we're a lynch mob, we're responsible, and on and on. Our vitriol proves we are no better than they are and on and on and on.

First we're the best. I don't give a shit what anyone says, there is NO more vibrant nor intelligent community of the Left anywhere on the innertubes. (On edit) And that includes the wannabes, the wish we were still there, you know who they are. We raise huge amounts of money to support this endeavor, and it's worth EVERY penny.

Second, there are WAY MORE vitriolic Right-wing communities on the Internet, just Google Right wing websites and BANG, there they are.

Third, as Chris Matthews said tonight, give me an example where a Left leaning Politician, threatened anyone with a gun. Fantasy. There are none.
