5. I know, but let me tell you...
My dear wife was a big fan of humor, and she tried her hand at comedy occasionally, just like I do now with the occasional stand-up routine.

Sometimes, you just have to laugh at the reality that's been dealt to you. It's one of your last and best defenses. And the forces of intolerance hate it when you laugh at them.

"Fecking Greeks!" :silly:

3. Those signs are encouraging violence, and they...

completely destroy any notion of equivalency and "both sides do it. When was the last time you saw a liberal carrying signs as angry, vitroilic and downright threatening as those?

7. At the very least, they should me monitored just like any hate group or terrorist organization
We monitor groups like the KKK and Aryan Nations, why not people who display signs that are obviously threatening? I'm not saying observe and investigate everyone who attends a Tea Party rally.

18. If someone is making threats against someone else?
If someone is making violent threats against someone or a group of people, then why shouldn't they be investigated, to determine whether they pose a serious threat or not? I didn't say that everyone attending a Tea Party rally should be investigated, but if you're carrying around a protest sign that conveys a threat, then absolutely.

If someone attended a White Power rally, and held up a sign advocating violence against African-Americans or Jews, should law enforcement simply ignore that person, and assume that they're just harmless? And later on, if that person actually assaults or kills an African-American or Jewish person, wouldn't we be slamming law enforcement for not doing their job?

If someone wrote a letter to the editor advocating the assassination of the President, should Secret Service simply say "just another pissed off person venting their feelings" and ignore the potential threat?

10. But Keith is evil for calling them Worst Persons
That cracks me up. They threaten violence, bring guns to political events, put crosshairs on maps, tell folks to reload, SHOOT PEOPLE but Keith calls one of them a Worst Person and they go bananas.

12. I don't understand WHY the police or FBI doesn't watch
these people. I have been at demonstrations where the police stopped people and made them discard the sticks their signs were on. Also people that were part of the demonstration got after anyone with a sign that was "inappropriate". WHY does the fucking RW get a pass, how many have to die!!!!!! :grr:

13. Horrible. Disgusting. But protected free speech.
The people with these signs should no more be prosecuted than the folks who hung Bush in effigy while he was President.
