Wow! Something called Patterns from 1956 on TCM, right now, about corporate culture. Is anyone |
|
familiar with this movie?

3. At the board meeting you just missed Ed Begley delivered a very realistic representation |

of what is totally obsolete thinking about business in a debate with the chair who did the more contemporary position that I'm sure you'd recognize. Interesting! role for Begley, excellent casting!!

Patterns(1956)
Master storyteller Rod Serling's drama delves into the mind of an ordinary man caught in the middle of a corporate power-play. Small-town engineer Fred Staples (Van Heflin) accepts an executive position with a big corporation and moves to the big city. His calculating boss (Everett Sloane) has a plan for his new employee: Staples will replace the firm's No. 2 man (Ed Begley). The tension builds as Staples navigates treacherous territory.
