Let's not forget the story of the booby-trapped mailings |
|
While RW pundits and mouthpieces are stumbling all over themselves to deny any connection between their vitriol and current death threats and assassinations, let's not forget there's also a whackjob still on the loose who has sent incendiery packages to elected and appointed government officials, including Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley (D) and Homeland Security Secy Janet Napolitano. Then there are the threats made against Democratic Senator Michael Bennet's staffers.
Gabrielle Giffords' office was attacked and trashed long before Loughner made his bloody mark at the Tucson Safeway yet have those perpetrators been caught?
They can keep calling what happened in Arizona an isolated incident but it is certainly not the only example of democratic politicians who within the just the past month have been threatened by domestic terrorists. The denial from some quarters has been pathetic.

2. Right. How come only democrats are targeted? (Rhetorical question.) Spineless Dems may have cause |
|
for being so. They are victims of terrorism.

3. If I were any of the Dems on Palin's map |
|
I would ask for federal protection, pronto. Right now I think all Democratic representatives should be cautious, but if I were on Palin's map I'd be especially worried.
