How About A Lake Of Poo The Size Of Lake Michigan?
unhappycamper note: Since the ‘Pentagon’ (DoD? Gannett?) has ‘requested’ that I only post one paragraph from articles on Army Times, and Airforce Times, To keep in that same (new) tradition, I will also do the same for for articles on Navy Times, Marine Corps Times, stripes.com and military.com.
To read the article in the military's own words, you will need to click the link.

Read all about Fair Use here. It sure is beginning to smell like fascism.

unhappycamper summary of this article: "Kandahar Air Field ... the base has a lagoon of sewage roughly the size of Lake Michigan"... Nice to see our military is ecologically responsible. :sarcasm:

Can you inhale a lump of feces from breathing the air at Kandahar Air Field?

As anyone who has been anywhere near Kandahar Air Field knows, the base has a lagoon of sewage roughly the size of Lake Michigan. Rumor has it there is so much airborne fecal matter coming from the “Poo Pond,” that after six months of living on the base you have inhaled a candy-bar-size lump of human waste.

5. Don't do it, it would be like waving a candy bar in front of a baby.

4. Lake Michigan is freaking huge
I find it hard to believe that we have a lagoon of poo that size, it would be able to be seen from space.
