the shooter was more confused that ideological. But when you look at the speakers of the hate talk then there is no reason to give them a reasonable doubt. At the time they were speaking they were talking about guns/targets and they knew they were advocating violence sometime in the future. What they did not factor into the situation was some 22 year old mentally ill young man who would follow through on their rhetoric.
None of us should ever forget that some very vulnerable and impressionable people who hear what we say may easily take the idea and run with it. Advocating death for anyone should be illegal and that includes calling for use of 2nd amendment rights, revolution and any other form. There are many more vulnerable impressionable people out there who will not understand that you do not mean NOW.
And yes I know that just two days ago I wish a death sentence on someone. I need to follow my own advice.
