Just Think
How much could the money we spent in Iraq and Afghanistan of bought us or solved for us.

My list includes

1) Paid health care for the uninsured
2) Social Security and Medicare trust fund solution for another generation
3) Extended unemployment benefits
4) Job retraining for the unemployed
5) Infrastructure repair
6) High Speed rail construction

Lets see....have I even reached half of what we spent?

1. 7) Work on renewable energy.
We could have spent money on our energy problem. Instead, our dependence on Middle East oil is harming our economy and our future viability as an economic and military power--which is pretty ironic.

2. There was a web site that did just that
Specifically. It was outrageous what could have been done. If it had been done think of the goodwill we would be able to bask in.
