URGENT ACTION FOR SEALS
It's that time again: The annual harp seal hunt has begun in
Canada. This year, the Canadian government has sanctioned the
slaughter of 400,000 baby seals.
Despite other countries saying "No!" to seal products, Canada
continues to challenge the European Union's ban. There is no
economic, scientific, or ethical argument to support the cruel
acts of shooting, clubbing, and skinning defenseless seal pups.
People have the right to refuse brutally-acquired products, and
the Canadian government should stop pushing them. Tell Prime
Minister Stephen Harper that you will defend your right to
reject these products and urge him to end the hunt.
