The civil suit SPLC filed against Tom and John Metzger and their organization was controversial even among some progressives, but SPLC was able to establish in court that the murder of Seraw had been directly inspired by the Metzgers’ call to turn hate into action and thereby the Metzgers’ statements were direct incitements to violence rather than constitutionally protected speech

I guess it wouldn't have to be the Southern Poverty Law Center or the Anti Defamation League. But they have the right stuff. Metzger is still paying Mulugeta Seraw's family I believe.
