How does America react in 2012? Do they show their revulsion to hate speech at the ballot box? |
|
or do they remain apathetic and reelect the hate mongers who are taking over the media? Unless there is a concerted effort by the party leadership to keep the hate speech out front until the people say no more, well, I just hope they have a plan.
And to the Righties lurking or actual members here, Rush Limbaugh doesn't get it, he never will. His ego is as large as his ass. This isn't about him, it's about what caused this tragedy, and if he can't separate his hate from the tragedy and tries to convince himself and his minions we're attacking him, well, he's just nuts. He sees the dollars slipping away. And what he said today is the master word spinner Frank Luntz trying desperately to find a phrase that sticks and exonerates the Right.
Pathetic. And we need to keep those pathetic attempts at deflection up front for reasonable people to push back from.

1. By then, none of this will even be on the radar. |
|
The election of 2010 reminded us of that yet again.

3. Unfortunately I think it will be on the radar... |
|
I say unfortunately because I think the right-wing has embraced violence to such an extent that we are almost certain to see this happen again before the election.

i think part of the problem lies in the fact there is no real choice on the ballot. but yes i agree the left must demonstrate the malevolence of the neocon movement.
