Someone wrote a letter to the editor of my local newspaper linking the Arizona attack to radical right wing hate speech. In the comments section I kind of got into it with one idiot who ranted against the letter. So, I asked him to name one specific example of a violent attack against innocent people that could be even remotely connected to a liberal politician or pundit. I couldn't believe his response. Here it is, his list of attacks that can be traced back to liberal hate speech:

Che Guevara killed at least 180 people
Joe Stack crashed a plane into an IRS building
Amy Bishop killed three colleagues at University of Alabama, Huntsville (after shooting, killing her brother in the 80s)
Unabomber
Kimveer Gill, who lists "Country Music, Republicans, Religion and anybody who supports the American Government" among things he "dislikes" shot and killed one student, wounded 19 others


He went on to assert that all of these people were liberals, which, first of all isn't true, and second of all is beside the point. It was good for a laugh though.
