As much as I love the Rev., Ron... or Ezra, or Sam would be better in that spot.

3. I can't ever forget how Junior glimmers with sunny mobility, according to Tweety.
To describe a sitting president who dressed up as a warier for a photo op, after he had used family influence to avoid actually being one when his time came.

4. I think Matthews is lazy, shallow and obsolete.
His interview style isn't about asking insightful questions but rather about a rapid-fire badgering of guests in hopes that they'll blurt out something that he can jump on. His knowledge base is mired in his personal past and his trick of comparing current players to historical ones is simplistic and short-sighted. Chris Matthews is stuck in an era long gone by and is incapable of learning new things.

5. Yes that's pretty much it.
The only thing I have to add is his petty bitterness against the Clintons because they didn't make him Press Secretary.

2. Matthews is a little bit manic at times with his questions
But at least he doesn't drool over conservatives the way he used to drool early on during the Chimp years.
