Since bull sharks often dwell in shallow waters, they may be more dangerous to humans than any other species of shark,< and, along with tiger sharks and great white sharks, are among the three shark species most likely to attack humans.[br />
Bull sharks are large and stout. Females are larger than males. The bull shark can grow up to 3.5m (11 ft 6in). It also can weigh up to 230 kg (505 lbs). Bull sharks are wider than other requiem sharks of comparable length, and are grey on top and white below. The second dorsal fin is smaller than the first.

Australia still has to face the ill-tempered mutated sea bass though.

Queensland and Northern Australia are really hit hard. Looks like the Floods are also endangering the Great Barrier Reef too. Link: http://edition.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/asiapcf/01/12/australia.floods.reefs/?hpt=C1

11. Wow...this whole situation is so surreal |
|
I followed a link that Bragi had posted in the Australia group, and watched home video of rushing waters building up massive power and speed, and then picking off a row of parked cars one by one. The end of the video showed a group of cars stacked like a house of cards.
Couldn't find the link in my history or I would have posted it here...

17. I haven't heard anything about this on the news here... |
|
It sounds a bit strange to me, but stranger things have happened, and I'm sure whoever's reporting this has got some footage of sharks cruising the streets of suburban Brisbane. Snakes? Yes. Sharks I'm a bit doubtful about...
