I guarantee that no matter what the President says in his speech, the critics will
light into him before he can get the words out of his mouth. There are so many statements about what he should and should not say. That man is in a no win job.

2. I've never really seen anything like it
Well, perhaps with Bill Clinton but I never saw or heard Bill get it from BOTH sides nearly as much as Obama has.

3. How many other men could take the pressure Obama has lived under...
and come out with the eloquence and calmness he does? Not only is he burdened with a country in crisis, he is also burdened with half the country screaming horrible things at or about him. He not only has the burden of the office, he has the burden of being the first Black in office...in a progressively more bigoted country. Maybe it's always been this bigoted and I just thought it was getting better.

He has a monumental task ahead of him and no matter what he says, it will be wrong, political, insensitive...on and on and on. The color of his tie will even be wrong.

I don't know how he does it.

4. This Should Be Obama's Stand On The Rubble With A Megaphone While Having An Arm Around A Fireman....
moment. But I agree with you - the MSM and both parties will all be ready to pounce on him - no matter what he says.

Unfortunately this constant criticism Obama's under is caused by BushCo as well. BushCo said one thing and did completely the other and created an aura of mistrust around the Presidency. This aura has carried over to Obama even though I believe that he is sincere in his efforts.

The BushCo stigma goes on.
