Go away Palin! Stay home with your dysfunctional family - they obviously need you.

in some ways. I mean, really? She can't appear on a television show? What are you so afraid of Sarah? You're a pitbull in lipstick, so slather up that snout and come out in public!

That was my first impression of her.
I sincerely hope she is gone. However, I thought w would be toast after 9/11 and look what happened! I thought for sure he'd never get re-selected and technically, again he didn't, if others believe as I do that O-H-I-O was rigged.

Bloomberg Business Week had her picture on the cover with a caption that read "Why Big Business Doesn't Trust Her?" That was in November. I knew then, she had no electoral future. No big money machine, no republican nomination. GAC

shouldn't he. Could you imagine the insanity just 4 years after bush v. Gore? That's what they were counting on instead of counting legitimate votes. What a nightmare bush left us with.

25. I know that Kerry's lawyers and top people were told of the "stuff" |
|
I kinda think "they" had some sort of blackmail or something to hold over John.
In the morning of 11/3/04 Kerry was going to contest the Ohio vote but the number of uncounted provisional ballots (95% + Kerry votes) fell suddenly from more than 400,000 to less then 100,000 which was less then bush's margin of victory.
A little reported fact is that people were indicted, arrested, tried, and convicted of rigging the Cuyahoga County (Cleveland) recount and that 1/4 of all the voters in Cuyahoga County were removed from the voter rolls prior to the election .... that was more than 250,000 votes .... all of which were black and democrats. W's margin was around 110,000 votes.
But of course i am sure you have heard about all of this from our liberal Media. :sarcasm:

31. No, not the details you provided. |
|
I'm so disgusted with our country. The USSC did it for me when they selected bush and stopped the counting of votes. Now to find out in more detail what you write, I don't think I'll ever trust how we vote and votes are counted.
During the FL fiasco I read the UK Gaurdian to find out what the hell was really going on in FL.
Thanks for sharing that information.

Knew of Neil and Jebbie. When I heard him speak I thought, this guy hasn't got a chance. :wow: The fact that he got close enough to steal FL shocked me.
When people have dismissed Palin I've said, we do so at our peril. If w could and as you pointed out Nixon - anything is possible.

16. Well it's clear that Sarah doesn't know the origins of the term "blood libel". |
|
I would actually cut her a break here if she weren't using it as a cudgel against her political opponents in a prepared speech. When you attack someone in a prepared speech you really ought to make sure you know what you are talking about. It is not as if someone caught you off-guard with a question.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=439x182743She might be done but the blood libel talk did not start with her... and yes, they knew exactly the kind of dog whistle this was, They did not count on the reaction from right thinking Americans though... no pun.

24. I wish, but I doubt it. She loves her fame and money too much. |
|
Plus she has hordes of rabid devotees who will beg her to keep on keeping on - no way will her ego be able to resist that.
No, the only thing that's going to result from all this is that her canonization as Saint Sarah the Sacred Martyr will be assured. She will announce her candidacy for President in due time.

But I honestly don't think she has any intention of going away, much less quietly.
I remember well all the times during the *bush years when DUers would post "He's toast now!" They were never right.
And I think she's even more obstinant than *bush.
Sorry. :(
