After Dare, Boy Gets Tongue Stuck To Frozen Pole
Boy Dared By Brother, Firefighters Say

WOODWARD, Okla. -- It's not exactly a triple dog dare seen in the classic "A Christmas Story," but the results were the same Tuesday morning.

The Woodward Fire Department said a boy was rescued after his tongue became frozen to a pole.

Paramedics were also called to the scene, said Matt Lehenbauer, the emergency management coordinator for Woodward County.

The Woodward Fire Department said the boy's tongue became frozen after his brother dared him to lick the pole.
