It's pretty clear that Sarah Palin can't comprehend the tremendous depth of her own ignorance
Of course, she's utterly in love with the sound of her own voice and completely deaf to the voice of reason. She's incapable of coping with the fact that she's nothing more than a second rate huckster with no real skills to speak of, other than her penchant for self-promotion.

All of her answers to life's little problems are bouncing around in that empty little head of hers, and she's impelled to share them. She just can't be bothered with any self-admission that her only real talent on the world stage is the fact that she's supremely adept at being utterly clueless and facile.

It's as if she expects her own stupidity to suffice as the legitimately justified prime mover for bolstering her critical lack of self esteem.

All the signs are there for everyone to see.

People with brains can see right through her torrent of bullshit, while the dumb asses of the world faithfully depend on her to justify their own stupidity.

In a perfect world, she'd be disregarded for any relevancy whatsoever and permanently dismissed as the feckless parasite that she truly is.

Unfortunately, our world is far from perfect.

2. Agree Completely
The whole thing is just really, really sad on so many levels.
When I first saw the news, I thought for sure her PR team
would recommend that she apologize for a lack of judgment and
then stop talking about it. Seems like they've gone on the
attack again, which even among some people I know that felt
understanding of her position after watching the reality, has
really turned them off.

Her whole career path is exactly what's wrong with the
political situation today.

3. Ignorance is one thing...a state that can be remedied. Prideful ignorance, is something else
altogether. "Hey, mr. & mrs. everyday American, vote for me because I'm ignorant just like you!"

6. And THAT'S what her mindless "bots" repeat in unison....
"she's a common sense conservative, JUST LIKE ME!"
ig·no·ra·mus Noun: An ignorant or stupid person.

5. She is simply following the Republican Playbook . Never
Concede to error. Plow straight ahead with your
agenda. BUT make Democrats apologize every chance
you get.

How many remember when the Senate was stopped and
Democratic Senators had to apologize for something
Move-ON said or did. These images were carried
on all the stations for all America to see.
No matter what the Republicans said or did ,no
concession plow straight ahead. After all they
carry the power.

The constant double standard to which the two parties
are held is eye popping. You cannot totally blame
the Republicans, they are permitted to get away with
this.

7. But she is the hero of dumbasses. A certain segment of the population...
Edited on Wed Jan-12-11 12:49 PM by Crankie Avalon
...(maybe 10 or 15%) see her and say "she's one of us." And she is. She says and does what every freeper would say and do if THEY had lucked into a celebrity status that gave them more of platform to spew than just posting drivel on rightwing websites or making fools of themselves in interactions with their family or neighbors. For those people, she is their "revenge" on everyone else. A freeper who gets to hang her ass out on television, mooning the world. And the more she's called out, the more they cheer her on.

9. So, what, you expect the popular (lamestream) media to, I dunno, ask her questions?
I mean, that would take the quick-wittedness to be able to ask, on the spur of the moment, a penetrating, in-depth question like, "What do you mean by 'blood libel' Ms. Palin?" And that would take, like, super-human question asking skills! You just demand too much of teevee folks for their paltry seven figure salaries!

On a side note, why is Sarah appearing on a lamestream media outlet? I thought she saved all her kisses for Fox.

13. Pontius Palin
reminds me of the description heard on a NatGeo show about dinosaurs.

"The brontosaurus has a brain that is so tiny in comparison to its body mass that it is barely aware of its own existence."
