Those were obviously not Palin's words. Still fulled to the brim with bald-face lies, of course. Damn right, Tucson WAS/IS political. It was about a political/governance ideology gone berserk. This unstable individual (no, not Palin) latched onto a radically libertarian, anti-government ideology that only needed some numb-skulled individual to connect with a violent, "Second Amendment" solution. We have every right to point to both that libertarian zealotry (and its sources), and the need to better fund (as in, governmental action) treatment of the mentally disturbed in this country.
