Loughlin shot Giffords first, and he had made contact with her prior to the tragedy, yet he had no political motives?!?

So why didn't Jared simply attend a sports event and open fire with his Glock at one?

There would have been plenty of opportunity to shoot at large clusters of innocent spectators, and end result would have shocked the nation similarly.

Nope, Loughlin apparently decided that he could do the most horrifying damage by the (attempted) assassination of a political figure, IMO.

"why did palin take the map down within hours of the shooting in tucson and not before???"

but the links to create a profile were dead. i'm not even certain my vote counted. however the very first comment i read said essentially the same thing i meant to say.
