Don't Over-estimate the Intelligence of Palin's Supporters
They are ga-ga in La La Land over Sarah's sheer brilliance - re: her video today:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WOW! just...WOW!!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Its so good. What history we are watching. Its stunning almost.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sarah looked and sounded very presidential. Let’s see if Obama can keep up.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wow!
I don't think I could be so poised under these circumstances. She really does carry Reagan's mantle.

You may disagree with her politics and her positions, but I don't think there is a candidate out there who can show such grace under pressure
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

These are just a few of the comments. These people are NUTS!

4. I really think it goes beyond that with her
I don't understand the draw. I have a lesbian friend who thinks she's the bee's knee's. That she would be better for LGBT rights than Obama... I just don't see where that line of so incredibly incorrect thinking comes from.

And people don't just love her, they worship her. Kinda reminds me of the scene from the documentary "Jesus Camp" where the woman is home schooling her children and pledging allegiance to George W. Bush's photo.

3. or the intelligence of Andrea Mitchell, who just called her performance, "Presidential."
Mrs. Greenspan and her husband's cartel have a lot invested in Sarah and her baggers. Can't let her go down too soon - there are still assets to strip off and offshore before the place gets torched.

6. She has evidently mustered enough phony sincerity to fool some of the people all of the time.
How would they feel if they knew they were being used by such a selfish opportunist?

that she is using them. Just would not compute.

10. Hopefully they may at least consider it.
I tend to turn off the television volume when Republicans come on. You can -see- the lies pouring out of them when you're not distracted by words meant to hypnotize.

7. But do they have a conscience? They should be ashamed of supporting a terrorist enabler.
She portrays her followers as salt of the earth "folks." But "salt-of-the-earth" and Palin supporter are oxymorons.

8. I doubt anyone will be able to reach these people. We need to ignore them and focus on
reasonable people.

11. I could only browse halfway through the second page of freeper comments
Then I came upon this "gem" of a sigline, and had to click it closed:

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

Yeah, it appears that this violence-prone handgun-loving freeper thinks he or she is clever, and apparently is in favor of "second amendment solutions".

But taken on its own, it could be interpreted that the freeper wants to go down in a Loughlin-like blaze of sociopathic suicidal glory.

14. There must be another video because
in the one I saw she looked deceptive, insincere and self serving. She in no way shape or form looked presidential.

15. Who cleaned up the spelling? This doesn't look like FR at all.
Only two missing apostrophes -- I smell auto-spellcheck.

18. Many of us don't seem to get that
conservative people make up their minds (often by sheer reaction) and then they NEVER change them--even in the face of overwhelming evidence that they should. Palin could have pulled the trigger herself and many (15-20%?) would not abandon her because conservative people do not change their minds, they justify. "My Palin, right of wrong." I fear that this is not the final Palin chapter in our history.
