2. Also, criticizing her speech = infringing her First Amendment Rights. |
|
To Palin, the First Amendment is supposed to guarantee no consequences for anything you say.

6. Yes, it's protected but akin to "blood libel" when any ire is directed |
|
at her. Just so you have it down pat.

16. It's the SAME, OLD SAME OLD |
|
A blatantly racist statement or action can be rationalized. Calling it out for what it is makes YOU the racist, engaging in "reverse racism," eliciting absolute outrage und so weiter und sofort. See the reaction on this board to Tim Wise.
For years, I have asked, "WHAT will it take?"
For any who look to "signs" please note the 9 year old who was caught in Palin's crosshairs. Born on 9/11/01, just elected to her student council, off on an adventure with a family friend to meet her representative; collateral damage.
Yes, language matters. In my town you can't go spouting off the n-word willy-nilly, waving flags and brandishing guns without your jenky ass being hauled DIRECTLY TO JAIL. Homie don't play dat. It's a GOOD thing.
I think the DENIAL is what most provokes.
The cover-up protection racket is ALWAYS much worse than the crime.
Let's see how much of it-ain't-jes-a-ribba-in-Africa-anymo' gets dredged up to obfuscate the obvious. One word: Rwanda. It's really enough now. Whether or not you get that remains to be seen...
