If the votes scheduled Wednesday are so important that they must delay the president's speech... |
|
...will current members of Congress -- such as Bachmann and Paul -- be there for those votes?
Maybe someone should ask them!

1. Not voting, I think. Its repug primary candidate debate. |

(I may be wrong; haven't followed this b.s. closely.)

2. You are right, well, about the debate. |
|
But of course Boehner didn't mention that in his letter. He mentioned that there were several votes scheduled for that time. Of course it is because of the debate, but he's not going to admit that. That's why I said current members should be asked if they are going to be there for these votes that are apparently so important they must delay a president's speech before Congress.

3. I'd like to know why the debate was scheduled to be on the 1st day the House is back from vacation |
|
Bachmann and Paul have been off of work for several weeks and now they will have even one more day off from work. The debate should have taken place when Congress was not in session.
Can't wait to see what The House is going to be voting on Wednesday evening - I'm sure whatever it is will be something that when it reaches The Senate it will end up in the trash ;)
