12. The question is: can (or will) the Democrats articulate an alternative approach |
|
that taps the growing discontent and channels it into something constructive or will they once again allow the right to grow some more corporate-sponsored astroturf?

I have no idea whether I should find these cartoons funny or horrifying. I guess both.

20. Political cartoons are not meant to be funny |
|
unless in a very sardonic and black humor way. If you can laugh at your leg being sawed off you can appreciate political cartoons.

17. You know, Cantor does.... |
|
...look like Uriah Heep, doesn't he? And in googling the guy - Heep, that is - it said about him that, 'Ultimately, Uriah's veneer of humility proved as empty as his morals.' Tell me that doesn't 'nail' Cantor. Damn, who wouldn't give their 'left one' to 'off' that mofo.

19. You don't understand. If people suffered from a natural disaster, it proves they're sinners. |
|
Why would Cantor want to encourage sin? If God saw fit to make these people suffer . . .
Wait, are any of them CEOs or big money campaign contributors? No, never mind. Those people could have easily relocated to their vacation homes.

21. Eric Cantor and aid to Israel.......... |
|
One week before the mid-term elections, Cantor suggested that money for Israel is not "foreign aid", and should be tied to military money, so it would not be cut. He obiously is all for giving money to Israel, but not the Americans who need help. Which country does he represent? Not sure if he has dual citizenship.
